Some people got it way better then others . People that live near 14 - 89 st has it good ,east or west your location is great ....you know why because of their economic status. For others middle class to lower class we do have it bad . You know where you live is bad if you have a police tower up 24/7 and if you have a NYPD video surveillance. The reason why people thrive to do better and make more money to move out of those bad places . But no one ever thinks what happens to those bad places when people leave , we want a new beginning to a better life . But that's a piece of us rather it's bad or good where we live , where we come from it's all apart of us and makes us who we are . Where I live you smell the rage of the city in the summer time and it's covered with a big blanket in the winter time . Music blasting , rats racing for food. When you get used to it the smells, the people doesn't bother you . That's the sad part ...the fact that you hear noises that either sound like gun shots or fire cracker and when we ignore shows that we are at a low place are communities aren't safe but we do what we get too , to make a better life for our children and for our self. To them living hear is only temporary , they will become better and liver a better life knowing that the people that live in these communities thrive to work there hardest. Mom's,Dads, Uncles , Aunts etc there all hear for us . What more could we ask by making the ghetto a place we have to thrive.
